On March 13, 2025, the Government of Canada introduced a 25% tariff on goods imported from the United States, affecting over $29.8 billion worth of products.
While the full impact of these tariffs remains uncertain, the City of Lloydminster is committed to navigating these challenges with fellow organizations. The City will continue engaging with government partners, vendors, service providers and other stakeholders to assess the evolving effects of these tariffs.
