**The River Fund Maine Trade Scholar Application CLOSES August 5 at 10 PM**

TRFM Scholarships are community scholarships focused on enabling local youth to achieve their educational and career-oriented aspirations.

River Fund Maine Jason York Trade Scholarship
Each year, one local student is named a River Fund Maine Jason York Trade Scholar. The recipient will receive a scholarship in the amount of $10,000 to support the attainment of an associates degree or equivalent technical college diploma or certificate. This scholarship money shall be intended to cover tuition, room and board, and tools, supplies or books needed for classes. This scholarship is renewable annually for a total of two years based on GPA and general good standing. The River Fund Maine encourages the Jason York Trade Scholar recipients to envision and prepare themselves for a career in the trades or technical fields. The objective of the scholarship is to provide continued learning by preparing students for acquiring and improving workplace skills that will lead them to a fulfilling and rewarding career, not just a job. This scholarship is open to 2024 graduates. Applicants must reside in the MSAD 44 or RSU 10 school districts.
