The purpose of this survey is to help us decide the shape of future HKVCA conventions.
Since the early 1990s there has been a gathering of our members from across the country approximately every two years. These conventions have rotated among western, central and eastern Canadian cities. Each one has taken place over a weekend, usually 3 or 4 days. The agenda has generally included:
The Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Commemorative ceremonies.
Memorabilia displays.
Guest speakers from government, military and other walks of life.
Sightseeing.
Opportunities for socializing during meals and other events.
In recent years the number of attendees has been declining. We’re not sure why, and this is part of the reason for asking you to take this survey. To help us plan any future conventions, we would like to understand what type of event and which locations our members prefer
The survey is quite short, and will take you less than 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous. And please note that you are not making any commitments to attend a future event by taking the survey. We are simply gathering general information for planning purposes.
