This application is for financial assistance in obtaining driver's education and driver's permit/license for parents under 20 years of age. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and needs to be completed by a service provider, parent, or guardian. The person filling out the application will be asked to provide your own contact information including phone and email first, followed by the applicant's contact information, including phone and email. You will also need to answer one question describing the young parent's driver's education need(s) and how the grant will support them in achieving their goals. There is an opportunity to provide, to the best of your abilities, information about what types of support is being requested, including for fees to pay for driver's education, to obtain a birth certificate or to support transportation getting to and from the drivers education class. Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered so if you do not know the answer to a question, please tell us that. Remember, you will need to be prepared with the information when you start the application. Finally, you will be asked to attest to the age of the parent, a requirement necessary to receive the funding. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with up to a 3-week response time.
