Northern New Mexico College Students:

The Department of Teacher Education at Northern New Mexico College has received funding for the Teacher Preparation Affordability Program Scholarship for the Academic 2024-25 year. To be eligible for the scholarship you must meet the following criteria:
  1. Complete and submit a 2024-25 FASFA application. This completed application must be on file with the Financial Aid Office to be considered for the scholarship. Even if you don't think you will qualify for federal aid, the FASFA application must be on file with the Financial Aid Office. For help filling out the FAFSA application, please contact the Financial Aid office at finaid@nnmc.edu or 505-747-2128; or the Educational Opportunity Center at eoc@nnm.edu or 505-695-4026.
  2. You must be a Teacher Education student in good standing and making progress towards program completion.
  3. You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Please complete and submit this short application. All applications for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters will be considered on a case by case basis as funding allows.
