The Agriculture 2040/2070 report demonstrates how the risk of losing as much as 2.2 million acres of Florida's agricultural land over the coming decades would impact the important contributions provided by agriculture to Florida’s economy and threaten the conservation values that many of these lands provide.

With Levy County’s rural quality of life and agricultural lands facing increased pressures from new growth and development and recent hurricane damage, we want to hear from you about your priorities for the region’s future.

This outreach and education program is a joint project of 1000 Friends of Florida, and the University of Florida’s Center for Landscape Conservation Planning (CLCP), with the goal of connecting rural and agricultural landowners with resources to safeguard Levy County’s economic future, while protecting its rural quality of life. We appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey. Please contact hbusch@1000fof.org if you would like additional information about this project.
