The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) is now accepting nominations for the Under 40 recognition of women under 40 years of age working at a community college. We are looking to recognize up to 40 rising stars who are making a difference for the college that they serve. This is an annual recognition of the youngest community college women who are movers and shakers on their college campuses. Nominations will be accepted through February 15, 2019. Previously named AAWCC Under 40 recipients are ineligible for this year’s recognition.
AAWCC will review each nomination. To stand out, please be accurate, brief, and convincing. You can nominate yourself or someone else. We are looking for a personal description (not to exceed 300 words) that describes the nominees' accomplishments and impact. You will also have the opportunity to provide a brief statement of 150 words or less containing relevant community college information that supports the nomination. A head shot of the nominee is required with this nomination.
The 2019 AAWCC Under 40 class will be featured on our website and at our annual AAWCC National Awards Breakfast (April 2019 in Orlando) along with other marketing opportunities.
For questions about this nomination, please contact, Dr. Kerry Levett at klevett@cascadia.edu.
