We need your input!

Anesthesia is an important treatment modality for dentistry and can be a determining factor for patients to proceed with treatment rather than decline certain procedures due to anxiety and other factors. There are different levels of sedation, and more complex levels often require additional education and governmental permitting. While specialists, such as dentist anesthesiologists or oral surgeons, may provide deeper levels of sedation, general dentists who have gained the appropriate training and permitting may also provide these services.

Please complete this brief survey so AGD’s advocacy councils can collect information about how many AGD members perform different levels of sedation services.

Your participation will help guide AGD’s advocacy efforts in this area.

Thank you.
