Purpose of the Vision Services Committee The ACU Vision Services Committee guides ACU’s efforts to increase access to vision services in underserved areas. The Committee discusses current trends and issues impacting vision services at health centers including promising practices in integrating eye care into primary care settings, population-specific needs, clinical best practices, and more. Committee members also support the training and technical assistance needs of health centers working to establish and expand vision services by serving as mentors and subject matter experts. Committee initiatives will be consistent with the ACU mission, strategic plan, and/or direction provided by the Executive Director of ACU and the ACU Board.
