Thanks for participating in our brief survey. Your feedback is very important. Des Moines has never seen anything like The Fifth before so we want to make sure we get it right!
The project is moving full steam ahead! We anticipate starting demo this summer, construction next spring, and finishing in the fall of 2020. A current rendering of the project is below.
We're also adding a luxury boutique hotel at the base of the tower. This will provide you with multiple benefits:
- Access to all hotel amenities, including:
- room service and à la cart cleaning services,
- the shared amenity deck with a pool, spa and fitness center, and
- exciting lifestyle spaces including a farm-to-table restaurant and lounge.
- The hotel will push the apartments higher. Being located above the hotel, even the lowest residential level will have excellent views. The rooftop lounge, exclusively for residents, will be 39 floors up.
- Easily accommodate your guests. With a hotel below, there's no worry about accommodating any number of guests.
The project will still feature the City's premier all-recliner luxury movie theater on Court Avenue.
