Dear colleague,

As part of our Investing Wisely initiative, the Prevention Collaborative is documenting the experiences of practitioners and the challenges that they face when implementing donor-funded projects on the prevention of violence against women (VAW) and violence against children (VAC) in the Global South. We plan to use our findings to advocate with funders for better policies and processes to enable more effective, innovative, and equitable prevention programming.

Now we need your help. We’d like to understand your own experiences, your views on how widespread these experiences are, and how they have impacted your work.

This survey is specifically for people who have the following experience(s):
  • Designing and/or implementing VAW or VAC prevention programmes or programmes with a violence prevention component; AND/OR
  • Observing the realities and results of implementing VAW/VAC prevention programmes at the individual and community levels; AND/OR
  • Managing funder expectations and reporting to funders on progress with VAW/VAC prevention programmes; AND/OR
  • Researching VAW/VAC prevention programmes.

We know you are busy and greatly appreciate your time. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to share specific examples of how these issues have arisen in your professional experience. We would be very grateful if you could take additional time to describe them.

All responses will remain anonymous and will not be attributed to any individual; data will be aggregated and analysed by the Prevention Collaborative team. Please feel free to share this survey with your colleagues to help us enrich our learning.
