Introduction
The Forest Resilience Task Force was established via Ordinance 2023-058 to develop a comprehensive forest resilience plan for Whatcom County. The Plan will guide management priorities for forests in Whatcom County and inform recommendations for comprehensive forest management across ownership to promote resilience given the cumulative impacts of climate change. The purpose of this survey is to gather information about community values and desired outcomes related to forest resilience in Whatcom County. Your input will be summarized and shared with the Task Force and County Council to inform the Whatcom County Forest Resilience Plan.
