Current Practices

When responding to the following questions, please think about the current practices in your facilities.
1.For indoor work areas, are you able to consistently keep the ambient temperature below 80°F?
2.Do you have employees that work outside for any part of their day (e.g., delivery driver, installer, maintenance personnel, etc.)
3.Do you have any lone workers that could be exposed to high heat conditions either indoor or outdoor (e.g., those that exceed 80°F)?
4.Do you have a system in place to monitor your employee’s exposure to high heat conditions either indoor or outdoor (e.g., those that exceed 80°F)?
5.Do you currently provide cool drinking water to your employees that is readily available?
6.Provide any additional information for how you are currently ensuring workers are safe from heat illness and injury (i.e., training, cooling clothes, sports drinks, etc.)
7.If you are in a state that has an existing heat illness prevention regulation (CA, MN, OR WA and soon to be MD and NV), what aspects are the most difficult to comply with?
