WA100 2025

The WA100 is Building Design's annual ranking of the world’s top 100 architectural practices.

The rankings will be published in January 2025 in print and online and distributed to leading design, construction and property professionals.

The WA100 ranks practices by the number of architects employed - the list and accompanying analysis is an established reference point for international research. It is also a key reference for clients looking for architects on every continent. Each year we benchmark this data against earlier years to help architects spot global trends over longer periods of time.

The survey requires firms to provide detailed information and data on staff, fee turnover and company performance for the last financial year. If you don’t have all the information to hand, you will be able to return to the survey to pick up where you left off and edit previous responses until you click the Done button. Your progress will be automatically saved but please note that, in order to go back to the survey, you must use the same device and web browser you used to start the survey on.
