THE JOANNA KNIGHT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM |
There are three scholarship streams available for NSW law students and solicitors:
Stream 1 – For women law graduates experiencing financial disadvantage wanting to be admitted as a lawyer ($5000)
Stream 2 – For First Nations law graduates wanting to be admitted as a lawyer ($5000)
Stream 3 – For women solicitors experiencing financial disadvantage wanting to be admitted to the NSW Bar ($10,000)

Stream 3 – For women solicitors experiencing financial disadvantage wanting to be admitted to the NSW Bar ($10,000)
We will endeavour to award at least four annual scholarships in each of Streams 1 and 2 and two annual scholarships in Stream 3 – one for each bar intake.
The two annual awards for women coming to the NSW Bar will pay for the Bar Practice Course, court dress including robes, and assist with chambers fees during the readership year.
The 8 scholarship awards for Stream 1 and 2 will pay for: applications for admission as a lawyer, living expense allowance for PLT placement while working at a community legal centre, contribution toward costs of PLT coursework fee, additional living expenses allowance for women with dependent/s.
