Call for grants BIPOC Sex Worker-led organizations
The European Sex Workers’ Rights Alliance (ESWA) is proud to announce its first sub-granting to organisations led by racialised sex workers (Black, indigenous and people of colour - BIPOC) in Europe and Central Asia.
ESWA recognise that racialised and BIPOC sex workers, in particular undocumented migrants, are at at high risks of exclusion, discrimination and violence. Anti-sex work and anti-migration laws and policies, combined with structural racism, negatively impact BIPOC / racialised sex workers in our region and also limits their involvement in sex workers’ rights activism. Many racialised sex workers also face racism within our own movements.
Through this sub-granting, ESWA aims to support up to 5 BIPOC sex worker-led organisations in our region. Grants of up to 10,000 euros are available. The grants are available to support the development of racialised / BIPOC sex worker-led organisations and strengthen the capacity and advocacy of racialised / BIPOC sex workers in the region.
