In the 2025-26 school year, the Middletown City Schools will be transitioning to Kindergarten through 6th grade elementary schools.
Due to this change, along with fluctuating enrollments throughout the District, the Middletown City Schools is embarking on a community- and data-driven process to redraw elementary boundaries with Woolpert. Woolpert is a K-12 planning firm based in Central Ohio that provides a full spectrum of planning services for school districts nationwide.

The purpose of this survey is to collect initial input that will be used to develop boundary options throughout the process. All community members will have additional opportunities to provide feedback on boundary options as they are developed.

Please note that at this point in time, no decisions have been made. This survey is meant to kick off this process, and the feedback will be used as a tool to begin drawing boundary options with community values and desires in mind. It is also important to remember that these criteria can be in direct opposition of one another. For example, we may be able to create boundaries that balance enrollment perfectly among schools, but in doing so we must split a neighborhood. These criteria are guidelines for planning, and those that rise to the top will be followed to the greatest extent allowable.
