Our district is working to develop a Portrait of a Graduate. So far, we have gathered focus groups of students, parents, teachers/staff, community members, community industry leaders, and Board Members to create a big list of competencies/skills they want Joplin students to have when they leave our district. These competencies were chosen based on four areas of life skills:
  • Ethical/Moral abilities
  • Intellectual abilities
  • Performance abilities
  • Civic/Community abilities
This is where you come in! Your participation on the following survey will help narrow down the big list into a manageable and meaningful group of skills that will build our Portrait of a Graduate. Same or similar skills may be listed as possibilities in more than one of the categories you'll be working with, and that's ok - it's just one more way to help us define what Joplin wants to see in our students.

The survey should take about 7 - 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for participating!
