The Summer Fitness Series is an annual program that includes free fitness classes all over Boston parks and virtually. It is held by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Boston Public health Commission and sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield. We want to understand why some residents attend classes and some residents do not attend the free fitness classes in their neighborhoods and the best ways to communicate about the program and what changes to make to make it more accessible.
