Breast Cancer Support Edinburgh 2023

Thank you for participating in the survey, which will help us to understand the support and holistic needs of those impacted by breast cancer within Edinburgh. 

 

This survey is anonymous and we will not collect any personal information about you unless you choose to provide us with your contact details at the end of the survey. It may also be possible to identify you from your responses to demographic questions within the survey. In these situations, under data protection laws such as GDPR, we are required to provide you with Privacy Information about how we will treat the information that you provide to us.

 

Privacy Information: We are the Data Controller of the information that we collect from you. Please let us know if you have any questions as to how we will use your information.

 

We will use your information to assess the needs of those impacted by breast cancer, which is in our legitimate interests. We will not use this information for any other purpose. We will delete your information after 6 months.

 

The system that we use to collect this information is provided by Survey Monkey, who are our Data Processor for this.  They will use subprocessors to store your information in UK data centres. We will not share your information with anyone else without informing you.

 

You may have certain rights in relation to the information that you provide to us. In some circumstances, you will be able to ask for a copy of it; ask for any corrections to be made to it; ask for it to be erased early; ask that its processing is restricted; object to us processing it; or ask that it be transferred to a third party.  Please contact us if you wish for any of these things to be done. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you are unhappy with the use of your information.
