The Emotional and Social Competency Inventory - University Edition (ESCI-U) measures 12 competencies organized into four clusters:  Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management.  In addition, it measure two cognitive competencies, Systems Thinking and Pattern Recognition.

These 14 competencies have been found to be important for effectiveness in many occupations

Please respond to each statement on the following pages by rating how frequently you demonstrate or use each behavior, i.e., think about how often you engage each behavior or how often that behavior describes the kind of person you are.
