PRIMAVERA initial survey about weather and climate information use |
About the survey
This survey aims to understand your needs of climate information related to climate variability and climate risks that affect the work of your organization and the work of your sector.
The results of this survey will inform the PRIMAVERA project which is developing a new generation of high-resolution global climate models. High-resolution will permit these advanced models to reproduce key climate processes with higher fidelity than conventional climate models and simulate and predict regional climate. This approach will contribute to more detailed process understanding and will support more robust answers to questions on how climate change could affect us in the future, for the benefit of governments, business and society in general.
We hope that by engaging with targeted end-user groups in key European economic sectors and exploiting new scientific progress this will strengthen their competitiveness, growth and resilience. This survey is an opportunity for you and your organisation to contribute to development of these models so that they provide most relevant information.
The survey has 15 questions and takes on average 10 minutes to complete. Please work through the survey and submit it once you are done.
