Benchmarking Enrollment
This year, for the first time, we're doing a summer benchmarking flash report. We have done an annual Direct Selling Field Salesforce benchmarking study since 2010, and we have the largest and best database of direct selling field salesforce data in the channel. To participate in the Summer Flash, companies must enroll by August 31 and submit two simple data files covering August 2023 through July 2024.
The details: Summer 2024 Flash Report
Data Required: Completion of enrollment questionnaire and two standardized data files.
A relationship master, providing identifiers, start date, zip code, and other static data for distributors, influencers, loyalty club members, and customers. No personally identifiable information will be collected.
A transaction file, providing summarized monthly sales data from August 2023 - July 2024.
Benchmarking Output: A 32-page benchmarking report comparing the performance of your company's field salesforce to other direct selling companies. We will provide comparisons to the full industry dataset, and to the performance of a group of companies judged most similar to yours. Benchmarking will be provided for:
Sales per Distributor, by tenure and sales segment
Sales per Affiliate, by tenure and sales segment
Sales per Preferred Customer, by tenure and full/discounted pricing
Sales per unenrolled Customer, by tenure and full/discounted pricing
Sales trends by channel (Distributor, Affiliate, direct eCommerce, Retail)
Geographic sales trends, by U.S. and Canadian sales region and urban/suburban/rural zip codes
Recruiting per Distributor, by tenure and recruiting segment
Recruiting per Affiliate, by tenure and recruiting segment
Geographic recruiting trends, by U.S. and Canadian sales region and urban/suburban/rural zip codes
Salesforce segment performance trends for Distributors and Affiliates
Sales per Affiliate, by tenure and sales segment
Sales per Preferred Customer, by tenure and full/discounted pricing

Benchmarking Enrollment Dates: August 10 – August 31, 2024. We provide a wide range of salesforce, field compensation and operational benchmarking services for our clients, but this special Summer Flash Benchmarking is only available this month
Benchmarking Completion Date: September 10, 2024
Benchmarking Enrollment Fee: $5,000. We can offer these valuable insights for a low fixed fee because we are processing everyone’s data at the same time and producing results in a common report format.
