Input on Oregon State Health Improvement Plan Priorities

Healthy Klamath is supporting the Oregon Health Authority by collecting Klamath County input on the proposed State Health Improvement Plan priorities. Thank you for answering the following questions and sharing your opinions on state health priorities.

Health across the life span (Belonging and connection, injury prevention, cancer screening, fall prevention, school based health, reproductive health)

Disease prevention and health promotion (tobacco, alcohol and other drug prevention, access to immunization, STI testing and treatment)

Physical, mental and community safety (Neighborhoods with nice parks and clean; training for doctors, social workers, police and public health workers; youth and children access to safe places outside of school hours; prevention and intervention in adverse childhood experiences)

Mental wellbeing and behavioral health (Mental and behavioral health at schools through school-based health centers, home visits for households with pregnant people and young children, community specific engagement and education, suicide prevention, substance use prevention, harm reduction, excessive alcohol use, overdose prevention)

Equitable social conditions (school attendance, people can do the activities they want to do (school, work, play) without barriers based on health factors and location, playgrounds support all children playing, access to health insurance, language access, neighborhood access to fresh, nutritious foods and expand programs that make healthy foods affordable)
