Subcontract with ASPHN under CDC Cooperative Agreement, NU38PW000047-01-01
Background
In 2024, the Healthy Kids, Healthy Future Technical Assistance Program (HKHF TAP) was re-launched through a subcontract with the Association of State Public Health Nutritionists (ASPHN) under a Cooperative Agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Through HKHF TAP, Nemours Children's, ASPHN, and CDC provide technical assistance (TA), tools/resources, and financial support to embed healthy eating and physical activity best practices into state ECE systems and settings. ECE systems include professional development offerings for providers, technical assistance networks supporting quality improvement, recognition programs, and child care licensing. Nemours Children's and state partners utilize the CDC’s Spectrum of Opportunities as the guiding framework for state efforts.

Issuance of this Expression of Interest does not constitute an award commitment on the part of Nemours Children’s, nor does it commit Nemours Children’s to pay for the costs incurred in the submission of any applications and/or expressions of interest. Nemours Children’s reserves the right to make selections based on initial submissions. Nemours Children’s also reserves the right to reject any or all submissions received and to negotiate separately with an applicant if such action is considered to be in the best interest of Nemours Children’s funding partners.
Further, Nemours Children’s may (a) reject any or all expressions of interest, (b) accept modified or revised interest forms meeting the applicable standards of this expression of interest, and (c) waive informalities and minor irregularities in the applications(s) received.
