Our ShadowTech programme offers girls in years 9-11 an opportunity to discover the world of tech, spark their curiosity and explore career pathways.
We’re showcasing real roles, because we know there’s a tech job to suit everyone. Plus, we’re inspiring girls to join Aotearoa’s fastest growing and highest paid sector.
Matched with local tech companies, students will gain hands-on experience to imagine their future career. This will also include a workplace tour, workshop activities and authentic storytelling of tech careers.
As a host organisation you will be required to plan a suitable agenda for the day, TechWomen will provide a guide with suggested agenda’s, activities and tips and tricks to help you create an engaging day for the students. You will also need to provide morning tea and lunch for the students.

Please be aware that in previous years we have had more organisations sign up than schools, so while we will try our best to match organisations with a school that is not always possible, and TechWomen members and sponsors will be prioritised.
