CORD Patient Travel Scholarships

CORD is offering travel scholarships to patient group representatives to help offset the cost of travel to the CORD/RQMO Fall 2024 Conference in Montreal at the Delta Hotel Montreal on November 26-27, 2024.

The scholarship funding is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve, as-needed basis with priority given to CORD members.
Customized scholarships will be offered to best assist you:
Applicants can select up to 3 benefits of scholarship that would be most helpful:

  • Financial assistance to cover the cost of conference registration
  • Financial assistance to cover the cost of the hotel accommodations
  • Financial assistance to cover the cost of travel (train, plane, or car)
All awards are made at CORD’s discretion. Award funding amounts will be adjusted by proximity to location of event.
Scholarship Guidelines

Who should apply?
  • This scholarship program is open to anyone with a rare disease, family members, and representatives of rare disease patient organizations.
  • Must be 18 years and over.
  • Applicants must reside in Canada.
  • Only one (1) representative from each organization may be awarded a scholarship to attend. If multiple representatives from an organization apply, we will allow the organization to make the determination on how the funding will be allocated.

What the scholarship does not cover:
  • Meals that are not provided during the conference
  • Incidentals
