Fact-finding survey regarding the socio-economic impacts of Sargassum influx on tourism in the USVI

Since 2011 sargassum events have resulted in excessive seaweed-stranding biomass causing considerable damage to the environment, human health and local economy of the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean region.

Our goal is to assess the socio-economic impact of Sargassum events on the tourism industry in the US Virgin Islands.  Please respond by Thursday, August 25, 2021.
