To apply to Kollab Youth's WINTER SESSION, all youth applicants must complete the form below. The deadline to apply is Monday, January 31st by 5:00 PM.

Please Read Before Applying:
- Eligibility: Youth applicants must be between the ages of 14 to 19 years old.
- Commitment: We require a strong commitment to the program schedule. Both classes are mandatory and take place every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Full attendance and active participation in all virtual classes are required.
Winter Session Class Schedule: Classes begin on February 12th and end on April 10th for a total of 9 weeks.
- Interview Requirement For New Applicants: New youth applicants must complete a one-on-one interview with a Kollab staff member. Returning members are not required to interview.
- Returning Members: New Policy Effective 2025, Kollab Youth requires returning members who did not graduate to submit an “intention essay” & email it to the Program Coordinator at: programcoordinator@kollabyouth.org
The intention essay should consist of one paragraph (6 sentences) addressing the following prompts:
Why are you returning to the Kollab Youth Program?
What will you do differently in this new cohort?
How do you plan to ensure you will successfully complete this new cohort?
- Parent/Guardian Consent: All applicants under 18 years old must complete a parent consent form, available on Kollab Youth's registration page (scroll down to find it).
- Program Overview: Kollab Youth provides low-income underserved youth with an exceptional program in workforce development within a nurturing environment, empowering teens to develop their potential, pursue their education and careers while strengthening their communities and it is free.

About Kollab Youth's program:
- Winter Session Timeline: Begins February 12th to April 10th (9 Weeks)
- Virtual classes are every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Attendance is required.
- Applicants, who are over 16 years old, have the option to be paired up with a professional mentor who will support them through the program. Find more about mentorship here.
- Applicants, who are over 15 years old can be enrolled as pre-apprentices, where they can obtain paid job opportunities.
- Youth can win various prizes such as tablets, gift cards, school supplies, etc.
