EC-Council invites community members to participate in an O*NET and U.S. Dept. of Labor initiative
EC-Council Community Members,
We are reaching out to Occupation Experts in specific Cybersecurity fields to help shape the cyber workforce and job roles of the future! We are inviting you apply to participate in the O*NET Data Collection Program, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. Based on EC-Council certifications, work roles, and coverage across the cybersecurity industry, your feedback may contribute to four occupation areas:

You are considered an Occupation Expert if you meet the following criteria:

1. You fit one of the role descriptions above.
2. You are currently active in one of these occupations (practicing, supervising, teaching and/or training) and are based in the U.S.
3. You have at least 5 years of experience with one of these occupations. This includes those who are now supervising, training, or teaching and have at least one year of career experience.

This is an important initiative and if you are selected, your participation will help ensure that the complexities of your profession are described accurately in the O*NET database for the American public. The U.S. Department of Labor, through the O*NET Data Collection Program, is seeking the input of experts.
Process and Participation Incentives:

U.S. Department of Labor Incentive:
A random sample of experts responding to this request will be invited to complete a set of questionnaires. Experts who are selected and agree to participate will receive $40.00 and an oak-framed certificate of appreciation from the U.S. Department of Labor.
EC-Council Incentive:
Certified members of EC-Council undergoing the EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) processes to maintain their certification(s) may track 2 ECE credits under “Volunteering.”
U.S. Department of Labor Incentive:
