Introduction

Sikh Women’s Aid is a charity supporting women and children from the Sikh Panjabi Community. We conduct a bi-annual survey exploring the lived and professional experiences of the Sikh Panjabi community nationally and garner their experiences to improve our work.

You do not need to have suffered any form of abuse to participate in this survey.

The 2024 survey will look to capture data on the prevalence and impact of domestic and sexual abuse within the Sikh Panjabi community. In addition to this, there will be a specific theme in which we will be exploring Spiritual Abuse and Faith-based exploitation.

The survey should not take longer than 15 minutes.

All the information provided will be anonymous, however, if you are affected by any of the questions in this survey please contact:

  • Sikh Women’s Aid - 0333 090 1220 - all calls are treated in the strictest confidence.
  • National Domestic Violence Helpline on 0808 200 0247
The Survey will close mid September 2024.

The findings and conclusions of the survey will be launched during our 2024 Sikh Women's Aid Conference in late November. The survey results will also be shared on our website.
