STRAT Participation Form |
The California Product Stewardship Council is the host of the Statewide Textile Recovery Act Taskforce (STRAT). We greatly appreciate your voluntary commitment to expanding textile product stewardship efforts in California. The goal of this taskforce is to hold space for in-depth discussion on textile stewardship policy opportunities, advocacy strategies, and programmatic feedback to guide the California Product Stewardship Council's mission-aligned work on textiles.
The STRAT, established in 2020, meets every two months for 1.5 hours to discuss strategies, challenges, and initiatives related to textile pilots and policies in California and the United States. This taskforce does not have decision making authority. There is minimal work expected outside of meeting hours. No recordings or detailed notes are kept, but the California Product Stewardship Council will send high-level summaries after each meeting. Due to the participation of public agencies and transparent nature of California Product Stewardship Council, we request that you do not share any confidential information.
The STRAT's general and working group meetings are free to attend, and we welcome sponsors for added benefits, including featured logos, guest presentations, and access to exclusive funder opportunities.
