Shaping rural specialist training accreditation

The Faculty of Pain Medicine has received funding to explore flexible accreditation pathways for regional pain medicine units. Townsville is currently the only location with a level 1 accredited pain training site outside our major cities.

Your responses to this survey will help us shape these flexible pathways.

We want to hear from rural health services to understand what the opportunities and challenges are in providing and sustaining specialist training and accreditation in these settings.

For health services interested in pain medicine accreditation, this project may lead the way to expanding opportunities for accreditation in regional areas.
