As you may know, state and federal grant monies were made available to establish STEM Center for Strength. The goal of the Center is to serve as a hub to connect those who have been impacted by the events of May 7 to services that foster healing, resiliency, and support for ongoing recovery through community events.
While COVID-19 has delayed making the Center itself available to the community, the Center is providing individual counseling, group support, and opportunities for wellness programming and recovery through video conferencing. Available services are open to anyone impacted by the May 7th event. All services and activities are offered at no charge.
The Center is seeking additional input from the STEM community so that we may create more responsive and relevant programming and activities in a virtual environment. Please consider completing this brief 9-item survey. All survey responses will be anonymous, and results will be consolidated by the STEM Center for Strength Program Coordinator so that we can determine next steps.
