The Salem State University Northeast Regional Educators Hall of Fame is administered through the Salem State McKeown School of Education and Friends of the McKeown School of Education Alumni Board. The selection of Hall of Fame honorees from nominees is the responsibility of the Hall of Fame committee composed of individuals from the greater McKeown School of Education community and individuals from the Friends of the McKeown School of Education Alumni Board.
Salem State University will host an biennial ceremony recognizing the chosen inductees and nominees. The next celebration will take place in the November of 2023. Honorees receive an etched crystal apple for their service and are named on a plaque that lives in the Salem State University McKeown School of Education.
Along with honoring extraordinary educators, the Salem State University Northeast Regional Educators Hall of Fame program enhances the University’s presence in the Commonwealth as a flagship institution that values the work, dedication and commitment of those individuals who are education leaders.
