About the Supervisor Training Project and Why We Are Conducting This Survey
To address the need for supervisor training within the care economy, the Social Services Sector Roundtable (SSSRT) Reference Group has secured funding from the Province of BC and the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction’s Employment & Labour Market Services Division (ELMSD).

- Deliver a training program for up to 350 supervisors across 150 agencies, with options for agencies to collaborate on training delivery.
- Develop a sustainable, long-term strategy for supervisor training and professional development in partnership with sector and government stakeholders.
This survey seeks to gather input from organizational leaders on the specific skills and competencies their supervisors need. Your feedback will help shape a targeted training program that addresses the unique challenges supervisors face in the social services sector, ensuring it is practical, relevant, and impactful for leadership growth across organizations.
