GEEARS wants to partner with you - community leaders from across Georgia - to facilitate conversational events about young children, their families, and the importance of early care and learning and family-friendly policies!
Apply in the form below for free technical assistance for communities to put on meaningful, accessible events built around a number of documentary films that explore different facets of early childhood. GEEARS will help you secure a film that explores topics like family leave, early education through a policy-maker’s lens, or an introduction to what early childhood is and why it matters. Whatever you think your community is interested in hearing, we’re here to help you get a film that can lay the informational base to a great live conversation. The list of films we’ve worked with before is below.
Then, we’ll help you plan a live, virtual conversation with local voices who can make the learning real and relevant for community members. GEEARS will take care of the technical components, creating and advertising a registration page and hosting the live platform.
Interested partners just need to come with ideas about who their audience is, what topics they want to cover, and ideas for guest speakers.
If you would like to explore putting on virtual screening and discussion in your community, apply by filling out the form below and get connected! We'd love to hear your ideas!
