LaDue Reservoir - Bridge Creek Watershed Planning Survey
Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategy Planning
Thank you for choosing to take this survey to help achieve water resource goals in the LaDue Reservoir - Bridge Creek subwatershed. This area is part of the upper Cuyahoga River watershed and includes the LaDue Reservoir, Bridge Creek, Burton Wetlands, Punderson State Park, Auburn Marsh Wildlife Area, Snow Lake, Lake Kelso, and Fern Lake. This watershed covers parts of Newbury Township, Burton Township, Auburn Township, Mantua Township, Bainbridge Township, and Troy Township.
The basic goals of these plans are to improve water quality in each watershed through activities like improving stormwater management, stabilizing eroding streambanks, and restoring and protecting wetlands and riparian (stream-side) areas. These types of projects are fundable through certain types of state and federal funding, but they must be included in an approved nonpoint source implementation strategy plan (NPS-IS) plan to be eligible. This survey is intended to obtain feedback on potential locations for restoration and protection opportunities to develop into fundable projects to be included in the NPSIS plans.
If you have any data, surveys, or photos that would be useful for developing this watershed plan, please send to Alicia Beattie at abeattie@crwp.org or call 440-975-3870 ext. 1003. This could include flooding, erosion, or water quality data, habitat evaluations, bird, fish, or wildlife surveys, or other information. If you have photos, please include a brief description, location, and date taken.
