Eligibility: Scholarships are only available to mentor farmers, NGO/ Ag Professionals, and cooperative extension that work with farmers or in the food system. A mentor farmer is an individual who teaches others what they have learned. Mentor farmers may be active in a farmers market, farmer cooperative, associations, or simply be a producer who tries innovative practices and hosts field days, trainings, demonstrations, and other events. We would like to encourage all county agents and cooperative extension to apply as they are in an opportune position to share their experience and knowledge from the conference to other farmers and agriculture professionals in Louisiana.
