Extreme Weather Symposium Survey

Sharing experiences and knowledge between those who generate weather forecasts and those who use them is very important for the safety of all operations in our industry.

The Nautical Institute has partnered with the IMO and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for the 2nd WMO-IMO Symposium on Extreme Maritime Weather “Bridging the Knowledge Gap Towards Safer Shipping”.

Ahead of the Symposium we ask for your help to better understand how you receive, understand, and utilise the information that comes to you in the form of a weather forecast.

The findings from this survey will be used during the Symposium and will help us shape the interactive workshops.
