2025 NABITA Research Award Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for NABITA's 2025 Research Grant!

NABITA provides one $1500 research award annually, given to those creating new and innovative research in the field of behavioral intervention and threat assessment best practices. The NABITA Research Award is based on the scope of the study, the contribution to the field, and advancement of best practices.

Those chosen for the research grant will be required to complete one of the following:

Present a 75-minute concurrent session of your research in-person at an upcoming Annual NABITA Conference
Provide a 4-part written series for the Member Newsletter (1-2 page takeaways)
Record a 45-60 minute webinar presentation for the NABITA Member Library

Awards will be disbursed in two (2) separate installments: the first upon accepting the award, and the second upon completion of one of the requirements listed above.

Applications are due by Friday, July 11, 2025 and all applicants will be notified by Friday, August 1, 2025. Both members and non-members are eligible.

If requested, NABITA can assist with sending out research participation requests to its audience.
