2024 DFW Corporate Counsel Awards Nominations

The Association of Corporate Counsel’s DFW Chapter and The Texas Lawbook announce that nominations are open for the 2024 DFW Corporate Counsel Awards, which honors the extraordinary work of corporate in-house counsel in North Texas. And we have added a new category called DFW Corporate Legal Department of the Year, which we discuss below.

The nomination process is open until Nov. 15.

The Texas Lawbook and ACC-DFW have put together groups of judges, guarding against potential conflicts, to review the submissions. The finalists for each category will be announced and profiled in The Lawbook starting in December and January.

The awards ceremony will take place January 30, 2025 at the George W. Bush Institute at Southern Methodist University.

Here are a few critics’ tips to make your nominations more successful:

· The more detailed the nomination, the better chance it has to win.

· Explain in detail the successful work of the in-house counsel, the challenges the nominee faced and why the nominee deserves the award.

· Include the bio of the in-house counsel you are nominating and any past articles regarding the in-house counsel’s success.
