Community Listening Project

Introduction

The Shaker Heights City Council has engaged a consultant to facilitate a Community Listening Project. The primary purpose of the Listening Project is to provide an opportunity for the public to share feedback on policing in Shaker Heights. The Boston-based consulting firm, Strategy Matters, will host events to encourage community-wide discussion on policing policies and practices including discussion about any real or perceived bias in policing in our city.

Your responses to this survey are anonymous and confidential. The consulting team will compile data trends and provide recommendations to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion and encourage positive relationships between the Police Department and residents.
