We know our employees are great and we are proud to shout it from the mountain tops!  We are often told stories, even sometimes long after the event, as to the difference our employees make each day to their patients, co-workers, and our customers alike.  We want to be able to recognize our staff for all you do to make SHP the Best in Correctional Medicine.  In order to spread the word far and wide, we want to open up the ability to nominate your chosen “Employee of the Month” recipient to ALL SHP Staff.  Sometimes simply hearing the story of the previously “unsung hero” may be just the motivation another employee needs to persevere in times of challenge.  The criteria are intentionally broad, as we want to encompass not just patient related events, but also greatness on the day to day aspects of the job, support of the team, overcoming environmental challenges, and overall positivity.  

In order to be eligible:  Employees must have been with SHP at least 6 months and be in good standing. 

Nominations each month will be limited (first 50 submissions).  Nomination Forms must be complete and detailed.  What makes the individual shine?  Share the full story of the events that lead you to believe they are worthy of nomination for this month.  The selection committee will review your submissions and make the decision in time to announce for the next Employee of the Month.  Recipients will receive unique Employee of the Month SHP swag bag and a bonus 8 hrs of PTO time to enjoy as you see fit.
