Senator

Senators are appointed positions within Student Government and come with the added benefit of a scholarship. As a Senator, you’ll have a more formal role in decision-making, representing students, and assisting in campus governance. This position requires meeting specific academic and enrollment qualifications (outlined below).

General Member

General Members are more like volunteers who engage in campus activities, events, and community service. While this role does not include a scholarship, it provides an excellent opportunity to get involved, make connections, and contribute to improving student life.

This will allow you to submit the form showing your interest in the position. Senators will be appointed by the new President and Vice President.

Senators shall: • Assist in representing the issues of the student body to the faculty, staff, and administration • Serve on college-wide or campus committees as needed • Serve on priority driven committees as needed to accomplish SG goals • Complete 130 hours of office work per semester • Take, sign, and uphold the oath of office •
