Job Fair Registration
Thank you for your interest in participating in the $18 PER HOUR & BEYOND Job Fair. To participate in this job fair your company must have at least one job posting at $18/hour. Other jobs can pay less than $18/hour.
Please complete this registration to reserve a booth for the $18 PER HOUR & BEYOND Job Fair scheduled for Tuesday, August 10, 11 am - 4 pm, at the Virginia Boone Building (Ag Center). You will receive a confirmation from Barbara Darby, barbarad@landofsky.org. The registration cut-off is Thursday, August 5, 5 pm. Booth numbers will be assigned as registrations are received. You will receive your booth assignment on Monday, August 9 and, also at the door when you sign in on August 10. Check-in time for employers will begin at 9 am on August 10.
There is limited, air-conditioned indoor space. We can accommodate 37 booths inside the building and 35 booths outside the building. Outside booths must provide a tent with weighted support. The outside booths are on asphalt. There are grassy areas around the perimeter of the outside area, that can be utilized if needed. Electrical access is not provided for booths but there are a few electrical outlets around the inside perimeter of the room and in the lobby and kitchen. Please bring charged electronics and/or a charging station.
An 8 foot table with two chairs will be provided for each booth. There is not room for large displays. Please bring a tablecloth or display that identifies your company.
The Mountain Area Workforce Board will provide water and snacks. Lunch is not provided. There is a kitchen available with refrigeration and an ice machine which you are welcome to use. Please label any food or drink items.
