The Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage is seeking candidates for several anticipated temporary salaried and contract positions for the 2025 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, taking place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., July 2–7. The program, Looking Forward: Youth and the Future of Culture, will include participants involved in media production, building trades, Indigenous language reclamation, environmental sustainability and stewardship, lowrider construction, music apprenticeships, and craft.
