Honoring Truth and Reconciliation

Tân'si! Ullaakuut! Taanishi! Hello!

Are you Indigenous (self-identified First Nations, Métis, Inuit), between the ages of 18 and 30 years old and passionate about social justice or labour rights?
Our SEIU Healthcare Indigenous Internship Program (SIIP) is a 12-month paid internship that is our launchpad to build essential skills in union organizing, so that you can gain hands-on experience advocating for workers' rights, engaging with union members, and contributing to meaningful social change.
SIIP is part of our commitment to building respectful partnerships with Indigenous communities by creating opportunities for career development, mentorship, and the recognition of Indigenous knowledge, traditions, and perspectives.

Please answer the following questions so that we may get to know a little about you, your experience, and determine if this placement relationship is a good fit. Eligible applicants will be contacted for an interview. If you have any questions or comments, you may contact hr@seiuhealthcare.ca

Thank you! Nakurmiik! Marrsî! Kinanāskomitin!
