Feedback for the Title IV ED-Flex Waiver

* 1. Our district would like a waiver for the Title IV, Part A content area minimum spending requirements.  Currently, we must spend at least 20% of the grant funds on activities to provide well-rounded education programs and at least 20% of grant funds on safe and healthy school activities.  We'd like flexibility with the minimum percentages. We often use other grant funds to spend in those categories. Therefore, it is often not necessary for our district to use enough Title IV funds to reach the minimum requirements in one of those categories.  Please provide your feedback about our district's request for the ED-Flex waiver for the minimum spending requirements in the two categories mentioned.  Your input is appreciated.
