The Mass Cultural Council is in the process of assessing the environment of rehearsal, production and artist workspaces in Massachusetts.

One component of the assessment is surveying individuals, organizations and municipalities who own, operate, develop or in some way tangibly support artist/creative workspaces.

The assessment is focused on spaces where artists/makers/performers work and rehearse. Not necessarily where the public goes to experience the work (although we realize there’s not always a clear distinction between these spaces).

Our aim is to further understand the successes and challenges of maintaining and developing creative spaces and to share what we learn with a network of interested parties.

Feel free to forward this survey to anyone who creates, operates or supports artist workspaces.
